Last visited "Fusion Delight" over two years ago when they opened in their current opulent location after moving across the parking lot from their smaller "Delight Garden" location.  FD is a large restaurant in the traditional sense as you could easily hold a LARGE Chinese wedding banquet - easily 400+ people.  We had a family birthday dinner for our 90 year old mother back then and the place was brand, sparkling new.

Two years later, back for a weekday Dim Sum lunch with my now 92 year old mother, surprised to find that the place is worn and dirty.  The chairs are stained, the carpets are sticky icky, some plates chipped, yeah you get the picture...  also noted a "conditional" health warning sign in the front entry.  What???  But the place is packed at 1pm with a wait of half hour for a table of four.  Why?

Unique Dim Sum items with some pretty tasty "large or special" dishes.  Not your regular Siu Mai or Har Guo which were OK but different stuff like:
    - Pork Knuckles, Ginger, Egg in Black Vinegar (Common for Baby Parties or Mothers who have recently given birth to help replenish calcium lost due to child birth)
    - Purple Yam Balls Stuffed with Runny Salty Egg Yolk (Gooey Dessert)
    - Chicken and Bitter Melon Rice Noodle Roll (an acquired taste due to the bitter Melon, "Lerng" or cool after-taste.  Not made in all Dim Sum restaurants.)
    - Salty Egg Fried Pumpkin (Salty Fried Goodness)

Service needs some fine-tuning.  Wait Staff needs to think when Patrons order Fried Rice or Porridge -  remember to bring smaller individual serving bowls without requesting.....  also sterno warmer or candle for the tea pot was not lit like other tables.  When you serve pricey Dim Sum, you expect top-notch service.

Heads up, review for service only, we did not get to try any food.

Came in with 5 of us on a Wednesday night around 7pm for dinner to celebrate a birthday. There were roughly 8 tables and plenty of servers around. Was sat right away, browsed the menu briefly and already had an idea of what we wanted...we closed our menu and patiently waited. As we were waiting for assistance, bigger groups that came in received all the attention, multiple servers were just standing around the bigger tables...even tho most were doing nothing

My dad and brother try to flag down someone for assistance. At this point we've been waiting for over 20 minutes, so long that we've finished a kettle of tea. We finally flag down someone and we told him we are ready to order. To our surprise, he says that he is going to help another bigger table (that just came in) first and will be back afterwards. So we told him we've waited a long time and we are planning to leave if we don't get help soon...and he says to us "is it really that big of a deal if I go help that table first?" So...at that point, we got up and said thank you and walked out.

Not sure if the reasoning was that the tip would be bigger or what, but it wasn't like we were going to cheap out either, we were there to celebrate. Either way, we never got to try the food and I most likely will never return.

    Dinner
    Food - decent
Service - Absolute trash. Seated, but no one gave us the menu or the tea. We sat for a while and decided to get up to get the menu OURSELVES. Then, one waiter came by and said, "What you guys don't even have tea, yet?" Like right man. Next ordering food, the waiter was so impatient, as he was writing the dishes his eyes were constantly looking away not paying attention. Food arrived about 20 minutes later. During our dinner, this lady carrying some dishes yelled "Move out of my way." to an elderly lady holding a cane. The tone of her voice was with attitude, truly not acceptable. We asked for to-go boxes. Didn't come, we had to get up and get it OURSELVES.
I get that you guys are busy, but that is not an excuse for terrible service.

    Service-The worst
    Food-Below Average

First time was ok; this time is awful!
I would avoid coming here at all cost.

Came here for dinner time and it was slightly more pricey than the usual Chinese meal out but for the fancy atmosphere, lovely presentation of all the food and the great selection they have I would definitely come back.

    ~ Atmosphere:

As mentioned, the atmosphere is amazing in here. An absolutely stunning restaurant which is very lovely and comfortable to eat here.

    ~ Customer Service:

Not bad at all. Nothing extraordinary but the people were very polite and food came out in a timely fashion.

    ~ Food:

    My top picks:

    - Cantonese Roasted Pork Belly: Cut into perfect bite-size squares and perfectly cooked with a very crispy skin and juicy pork. A lot of places make this pork belly far too dry and overcooked but here it was perfectly done.

    - Chicken & Salted Fish Fried Rice: Another excellent dish. One of my favourite dishes generally and this place was really generous with their salted fish flavour which a lot of other restaurants skimp on.

    - 3 Treasure Buns: Very fluffy buns with juicy meat on the inside. Flavour wasn't too heavy and strangely felt very light to eat.

    ---

Overall, my family really enjoyed the meal and we would definitely come back. Nothing out of this world so not 5 stars, but would for sure recommend this place.
